CHARITY FUN RUN/WALK FUNDRAISER

San Diego is home to the nation's largest concentration of military personnel. More than 15,000 active duty service members transition out of active duty service in San Diego each year. More than half of those transitioning want to stay in San Diego, which is the number one destination for veterans returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. Today there are 240,000 veterans residing in San Diego that is more than the number of active duty personnel here in America's finest city.
Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD) is San Diego's largest nonprofit agency serving more than 3,000 homeless veterans annually. Since 1981, VVSD has offered an array of services beyond basic food and shelter, giving veterans hope and helping them to reclaim their lives. VVSD is the only licensed residential drug treatment program exclusively for veterans in San Diego County. For more information and to make a direct donation, please click HERE
