VIRTUAL OPTION NOW AVAILABLE

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

I am writing to share some important updates regarding the 340B Coalition Winter Conference being held Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 in San Diego. The enthusiasm for this conference has been overwhelming and reflects the 340B community’s strong ties and desire to advance our knowledge and skills. In fact, there has been so much demand for the event that rooms became limited at the Marriott Marquis and we have secured additional rooms at nearby hotels. I personally look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the conference.

We recognize that some people may not be able to travel to and participate in an in-person conference. In response to the challenges presented by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 340B Coalition is expanding the number of options available to you to attend.

In addition to holding live, in-person sessions, we will be broadcasting all educational sessions live so that they are available for simultaneous online viewing. Conference registrants will be able to choose between attending the conference in person or accessing the sessions remotely via an online portal. Those attending the conference in person will also have the option to view a session online if they so choose.

The conference provides an opportunity for attendees to receive up to 13.25 live continuing pharmacy education credits and up to 12 hours of ACHE credits for those sessions they attend live, either in person or virtually. For those registrants who cannot attend or watch a live session, we will also have an option to view sessions on demand at a later date but will not be able to offer CE credits for on-demand viewings.

All current registrants of the event will be considered in person attendees unless they specify otherwise. If you are a current registrant and prefer to participate virtually only, please contact events@340bhealth.org or return to your registration and update the question about how you will participate in the hybrid event. If you are not a current registrant, there is still time to register and you can select how you prefer to attend, either in person or virtually.

We know the conference is a vital way for 340B professionals to expand their knowledge, advance their careers, and connect with their peers from across the country. These unprecedented times call on us all to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to protect our health and well-being while continuing the important work of caring for those in need. I hope these options will make it possible for maximum participation in this year’s Winter Conference.

Sincerely,
