Jessica Larsen-Gallup is the Director of Pharmacy Business and Analytics at Avera McKennan Hospital. Avera Health, based in Sioux Falls, S.D., is composed of more than 300 locations throughout South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and North Dakota. She leads a team that manages the 340B drug pricing program for 25 Avera hospitals and oversees 100 independent and chain contract pharmacies. Because of her special interest in addiction studies, she started the South Dakota chapter of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators (NADDI) and served as the inaugural president. Prior to her work with Avera, she worked for Millennium Pharmaceuticals on pharmacogenomics in multiple myeloma. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from South Dakota State University where she researched the effects of herbal supplements on rat behavior. In 2007, she graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Master of Science in Health Services Administration.
