Description
As technology evolves and institutional needs change, information systems transitions are inevitable in healthcare practice. These transitions may include a change in electronic health record (EHR), change in pharmacy computer system and/or a change in split billing application. Any of these transitions can impact 340B claims qualifications. Through presentation of case studies, this session will provide an overview of elements to consider when planning for information system transitions, with a focus on 340B compliance considerations and lessons learned that may be valuable to other institutions as they plan for system upgrades.
